Previous page Linksoul is more a philosophy than a brand. More of an experience than a clothing company. Linksoul is the collective life’s work of people who care about each other and enjoy collaborating. We believe in creating products we value, with the people we love, for the good of our families and our community. Our roots are in golf. We descend from a long line of golfers, craftsmen and artists. But now we fill our time with many interests, including surfing, skiing, hiking, yoga, travel, cooking, parenting, dog walking…We believe that these everyday practices teach us the most about ourselves. Linksoul originates from the term “links soul”, an expression of the connection we found through our years playing golf…and now seek in whatever we do. We want to expand beyond [the current boundaries of] “business as usual” by creating, selling, and participating as a socially and environmentally responsible company in our community. The Linksoul Lab, our headquarters on Pacific Coast Hwy in Oceanside, CA, includes our design center and community event space in which we host art shows, concerts, benefits, teach workshops and screen local documentaries. Co-founded by John Ashworth and an all star team of his family and close friends, we are a group of people that have been in men’s lifestyle clothing industries (namely golf and surfing) for decades. Somewhat tired of the corporate game, we’ve set off on our own pirate ship to do what we do best, but with a new mantra... “Tempus Fugit”. It is latin for “Time Flies”. How we spend our time is foremost at Linksoul. We believe enjoying our lives lets us enjoy our work, and vice versa. A perfect day for us includes time with family, time with friends, time in nature, creating things with our hands and physical exercise. A life filled with these kinds of days is a good one. It’s no longer just about golf, it’s about everything. (…however golf is still mandatory on Fridays). Linksoul Visit the Store Next page
Gave this as a gift. The recipient likes everything about the hoodie for the cool times(not cold)when you would be too warm in a heavier garment. This is a nice quality, it is not a really thick hoodie, but the quality is pretty nice. I do wear this one a lot inside. The price is a bit on the outrageous side for this, so it won't get a full five stars. This is made well, is comfortable and fits well. this is not the thickest material but soft and comfortable. I think if the seller wants to move a lot of these, they would need to bring the price down to fit the item better. There is nothing about this that screams this price.I ordered this hoodie for my husband, and he finds it very comfortable. I was worried that there were no strings to tighten the hood, but this turned out to be a good thing, since he wears it while traveling and the lack of strings makes the hoodie more comfortable to nap in. The material is durable (no issues with pilling after a lot of wear) and lightweight. It is not a good hoodie to wear alone in cold temperatures, but works well as a layering piece, or for warmer climates. My husband tends to get hot easily, so this jacket is perfect for him. The "black heather" color is really a charcoal gray, it matches well with pretty much anything. As for sizing, my husband is 6 foot 2 with a 38 inch waist, and wears a size large tall in Old Navy shirts and jackets; I ordered this hoodie in a large, and it fits him well, no issues with the sleeves being too short.Overall, this is a soft, comfortable, lightweight hoodie that works well for layering or for warmer temperatures. I do think it is overpriced at $95 (for that amount, I like to buy merino wool garments), but it is still a nice jacket. My husband likes this hoodie and wears it often, so I would still order it again. This hoodie is very comfortable, very well made, quite nice looking, and a good fit. It's also warm and light (as opposed to big and bulky) making it a great choice for wearing under a jacket on particularly cold days. This relatively sleek design makes this hoodie equally suitable for athletic wear -- gym, running, outdoor Fall chores -- or as the key element of a contemporary young-urban-hipster-edgy- casual-chic look. One of the interesting things about this garment is that at first glace it looks like a pretty run-of-the-mill hoodie; a hoodie is a hoodie. A second look, however, discloses that it's of quality material, not another mostly synthetic soon to be nappy shabby if functional low-end textile. Then you see the pewter-colored zipper's design and it's fine teeth, the detailed stitching around the hood, and that it retains a shape given by its spandex content, et. al. details of unexpected quality. This at least explains the price tag. It's a lot more expensive than any other hoodie I've owned. But if you can afford it, go for it. Extravagance and rank consumerism can be very unattractive, but nice stuff that's within your means and appreciated for its quality is why nice stuff gets made in the first place.I've purchased a few different Linksoul clothing pieces and I've been pretty happy with them so far. Quality is evident in all of them. They're hefty materials but not heavy. Very comfortable. Most of what I've received has had a minimal esthetic to it, which is what I like more than a wild style. The fit is great and comfortable, but I feel like the sweatshirt is a bit larger than average for an XL. It's pretty loose on me. I've always been on that thin line between an L and a XL. It's tough sometimes because I have to gamble. I tend to go larger because I can always purposely shrink it, which is what I did with this. And I'm happy with the size now. Especially for something I can wear over other layers.I love this hoodie. It’s nice and comfortable right off the bat. Doesn’t need to break-in to stretch out certain areas. And none of that slim fit athletic fit here. Just a comfortable light hoodie. Also, one small feature I like is no drawstrings from the hood. It’s kinda nice not having them.It seems that the sulky teen in the house wants to wear a hoodie every day, even if it's 90 degrees outside. So I'm always on the lookout for something in his size that's not obnoxiously covered in artwork or logos. This Linksoul hoodie is great for him. It's super-comfortable,with a 93%/7% cotton-poly blend, machine washable, obviously well-made, with attention to details even with a simple design like this. The hood does not have pull-ties. The zipper is strong an has a unique design. The logo is down by one of the pockets and classy and understated. No complaints about the product itself.I would have loved a couple of more color choices, maybe a deep forest green, a midnight blue. And I have to mention the price, because for the price point it's selling at, you can get 5 classic Hanes hoodies. I recognize that you usually have to pay more for quality, and for a "boutique" brand vs a giant corporation, but a hoodie is not a boutique kind of item... I hope this company does well, but I hope they can bring the price point down closer to $50 or less, at least. 4.25 stars.Maybe of these were like buy one get one half off and I really wanted more, these would be good enough for the price .Everyone earns thier money differently so you might earn double what i do, in less the time that i do. So these might be a few dollars for you. For me however, they are expensive considering the price. They are maybe a 30. In my opinion. The quality is good, the material is lightweight but still warm. Fluffy but breathable. Unfortunately for the asking price, I expect a big ole check mark to be on the front chest, three rings around the arm, or at the least matching joggers.Ain’t nothing wrong with the quality, it seems like something id find at kohl’s or sears. Its just i can’t justify the price for one sweater which is casual.I would order again, but not at this price. It is comfortable and i have no real issues paying this amount on my own, but i don't think a nike sweater of this identical style and design wouls run that much.
