I bought this but returned it shortly thereafter. I ultimately ended up with a mountain hardware paladin instead (though I now have mixed opinions on that one, too).Anyway, the HAL is a nice pack, and well-deserving of accolades. It fits well and generously accommodates a large laptop and other stuff. There's a well-designed water bottle/umbrella pocket on one side. My complaint was not enough small zippered pockets for storing chargers, headphones, and other miscellaneous electronics.There are some small compartments within the larger pockets, but I think things would just fall out of them and get jumbled around within the larger pocket (not fall out of the pack though.) The other thing that bothered me about the HAL is the strange design and shape -- it's a little too hip and urban for my tastes. Je ne sais.
